Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead and organize band of musicians for weekly Sunday gatherings. Provide oversight and direction during rehearsals and performances. Involved in developing future musicians.

I attended and was involved in some of the trainings the staff went through in which worked to effectuate and assist in the development of mission and purpose statements for the organization.
VALLEY LIFE CENTER: DALLAS, OR
June 2005 - June 2006
Led a band of musicians among a congregation of four hundred people. Performed and led music in our Sunday morning service as well as our youth group service. I worked with a good number of musicians in this church. Prior to coming on staff at this church, I assisted with video production for a state wide event.
Scheduling musicians.
Involved with weekly staff meetings where we planned and scheduled some of the organizations events, planning services and addressed church weaknesses.
Assisted in playing guitar in a professional studio for an upcoming drama production
Responsible for youth group music.
FAITH CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP: WOODBURN, OR
Performed and led music once a week. Organized and led the team.
Helped to train volunteers.

Led music for many youth winter and summer camps. Selected music, scheduled practices, directed band, set up and coached sound technician.

I was a student of Larry Fleetwood for approximately five to six years.

Larry's current bio is as follows (Please note that I am not sure what has changed in Larry's bio since I took lessons with him five years ago): Senior guitar teacher at Uptown Music and has taught at the store for 20+ years. Larry's background includes: Obligatory introductory lessons, exposure and apprenticeship to colleagues in various ensembles, 45 years playing and 40 years of teaching experience, a tremendous amount of self-instruction and research.
Topics studied with Larry include: Classical Guitar, Blues, Rock, Music Theory, Learning to read music and more.
TEACHER, UPTOWN MUSIC
July 2007 - April 2008
I taught guitar through Uptown Music for a series of months.
Approximately twenty five students during the course of these months. Note: All students did not take lessons during the entire time frame listed above. I probably had at most ten to thirteen students at one time.
Most students took weekly half hour lessons.

Course lectures and or work include: I was as a teacher assistant in which I taught six college level class sessions in the course of a year. This was a stretching but great experience that developed my communication and organizational skills.
